Gernavia Leverette, CEO, Ph.D.

 Coach, Consultant, Parent Advocate

Instructional Impact, LLC is a special education coaching, consulting, parent advocacy, and teacher and school leader preparation agency. With a focus on ensuring equitable outcomes for students with disabilities across educational organizations, we collaborate with school administrators, teachers, parents and guardians, and community stakeholders to build knowledge and strengthen instructional practices that meet the unique learning needs of students with disabilities.

Dr. Leverette, Founder and CEO, is a licensed and experienced special education director, special education teacher, reading specialist, school principal, and district-level leader. With more than 20 years of experience, she has been a strong advocate for student rights, coaching teachers and school leaders, consulting on and developing school-based special education programs, and recruiting and placing high-quality special education teachers within both charter and traditional school districts.

Dr. Leverette holds a Master’s degree in Reading and Writing from the University of the Cumberlands, a Master’s degree in School Administration from the University of Scranton, and a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies with a focus on Transformational Leadership from the University of the Cumberlands.
