Welcome to My Blog!

My name is Navia Leverette. I am a licensed professional educator with more than 17 years of experience working in public charter and district schools. As a special education director, special education teacher, reading specialist, school administrator, and school principal, I have successfully supported teachers, school leaders, parents/guardians, and community stakeholders with navigating through the laws, polices, and procedures that govern the education of students with disabilities. My most recent contribution to the field of education is the start-up of Instructional Impact, LLC!

Instructional Impact is a special education coaching, consulting, advocacy, teacher and school leader preparation agency. With a focus on ensuring equity in education for students with disabilities across educational organizations, we work in collaboration with school administrators, teachers, and parents/guardians to develop knowledge and instructional practices for meeting the unique needs of diverse learners.
